My story
I am a native of California, I grew up in Southern California, in the suburbs of Los Angeles. My Dad and sisters still live there. I have traveled to overseas lands that include Australia.
When I was 20 years old, I was in my car and I was hit by a drunk driver. This accident caused me to go into a coma. After a three-week coma, in ICU, I after awoke from my coma, I could not understand why my body was in so much pain. I was at that point, that I was actually disabled. I further did not understand why I could move only my right side of my body. (The left side of my body was Paralyzed). I couldn't understand where I was. Before this time, I had never before been in a normal room in a hospital, where patients are treated in rooms.
All I knew is that My parents, especially my Mom, and members of my Family, and Friends would come to see me every day. After two weeks they finally told me what had happened to me.
I was told that my body was in bad shape. I had a Shattered Skull, a broken Jaw (they did not know it at that time), and a broken Pelvis. I was told that I would never be able to work again. I was told that I would never walk again. They told me if I was lucky, I would be able to sit in a wheelchair. I was told further, that I would not be able to have children. Then they told me, would get disability payments from the government for the rest of my life.
The next day when one of my doctors came into my room to check on me, I asked him why I wouldn't be able to walk again? He told me that because of the damage to my body! I asked him if I could be tested to see if I could walk again. I had trouble with my bodily coordination which I had to overcome.
Waiting in a hospital room as I recovered from the accident, gave me a lot of time to think. I noticed that the nurses at the hospital were attractive to me, and I knew that if I was going to have any chance to date them, I needed to get myself back on my feet, and not be stuck in a hospital bed or even a wheelchair. ( I never dated any of them )
My healing abilities I believe were unlocked from the time I could visualize myself whole, and to be able to walk again. I then made that my goal, ( I thought that I had nothing to lose, I also thought that every improvement from that point was moving in the right direction ). I thought that I really needed to work hard at my recovery every day.
I worked at my recovery so much, that I worked on my recovery 8 to 10 hours every day. I was back at work without any restrictions, in less than five months, ( counted from the day of the accident until I returned back to work ). I was a school bus driver at the time, it was almost impossible, to be back at driving a school bus in such a short period of time. But I did it!
I also served in the US Air Force, after the accident too. I was in for eight years on active duty. Again like the School bus drivers, the Military personnel doesn't want people who have been in a coma. ( It is almost impossible, to have been in a coma in the past, and to then serve active duty after that ).
While I was overseas assigned to a remote base in Australia, I found in the library, and that Natural Health was the subject that interested me the most. I learned about and I wanted to be a Naturopath. I found that there was a school in Adelaide where I could study there. I studied for eight years full-time and two years part-time.
A few years later, I was over in California, and I was trying to get enough money to bring my wife and children, to live in California. It was at this point that I had a teaching moment for myself, I could feel the pain of a friend of mine, at a club meeting. During the meeting, I could feel her pain. I decided that I did not want to keep feeling it, and I decided to check where her pain was, from across the room. Without touching her, I was working only in my mind, I visualized the removal of her pain, as I corrected the problems as I found them. After the meeting, I asked her to call me in the next couple of days if anything changes. Three days later, she did call me and she asked me what I did to help her.
I told her that I could feel her pain, and I worked to help her, so that I did not have to keep feeling it anymore. She told me that the pain she had was gone after suffering for 23 years with it.

Brian was my partner in the birthing of my baby until he had to disconnect after 6 hours (he had to go to sleep) of feeling everything, I was feeling at exactly the time. After an hour more, I had my baby.
